Carbon Splicing the octapod

Podspace was full house for “Carbon Splicing” stencil workshop under guidance of Jessica Coughlan and Tiera Boogaard.

As the TINA08 program stated:

Ever wondered about democratising public space for mass communication?

Around the world stencil is used to inject image as voice into the streets of the urban environment.

Come along to learn a number of methods of constructing images, cutting them into stencils & laying them up on a legal wall using various spray techniques. We’ll also explore negotiation techniques for securing legal walls.
